786… Uni-verse… The multiple manifestation of the ONE… From beyond duality, the Self shines eternal. Knowing no birth and no death, the Self is IMMORTAL…. not the mind, not the body, not the emotions. Neti neti. The SELF IS… take a second and point to your Self? When you point to your self, where do you point? 9 out 10 people will point to the heart. Why? Because the true SELF is a LIGHT that inhabits the hearts of all hu-man BEINGS. The Self is Light from the Light. The true Self is Divine. Know this Self to be beyond race and gender. Who are you? You are that SELF which is Light. Light is God. God/Allah/Yaweh/Brahman/Ja are names of the TRUE Self. The Self is beyond duality. In fact, the Self is Allah…Be this Self.
LA EE LA HA ILL ALLAH—ALLAH IS THE ONLY REALITY…after the mourning salat today me and another brother were building and eye was explaining to him how life is like a kung fu movie. We all have seen the kung fu movie where in the beginning of the movie the star of the film has something terrible happen to him like: his teacher is murdered, his entire family is killed, or he is beaten half to death by the villain. After that, he goes off to find a master who teaches him some real powerful kung fu and he comes back to “kick some as.” in the end he is victorious…this is how life is. Sometimes the trials we experience can almost beat us half to death. We all need to learn some powerful spiritual kung fu from a master to “kick some ass.” in life the obstacles and trials we face will always defeat us if we do not have some spiritual training. Sufism is that training that helps us defeat the trials of life. The sufi way gives the disciple the tools they need to deal with life’s problems from a spiritual perspective.
As above, so below. On earth as it is in heaven…all of our problems on the physical plane have their origin on the spiritual plane. So the solution to our problems is a spiritual solution. Ultimately ALLAH is the only reality/power of the universe. When we learn to tap into the power of Allah, all of our problems become like the villan in the kung fu movie that gets his head chopped off in the last scene of the film…if you are in need of some spiritual “kung fu” please seek for a master to teach you…when the student is ready, the teacher will appear

St. James and sufi at Wawa free hoagie day in phily
Love is the ONLY power in the UNI-verse!!! God exist as your True Self. Find, Know and ultimately BE this True Self. my life is becoming heaven on earth. eye only meet beings of light. there is NO darkness in eye CIPHER. this week eye was blessed to meet St. James. eye went with my class to free hoagie day at independence plaza in phily on a field trip tuesday. while siting on the park bench eye noticed a gentlemen collecting water bottles and pouring them on the plants. as eye observed him, eye thought to eye self, this man is a saint. when he came by my bench to pour water on the plants eye asked him “what is your name my man, and what made you want to pour water on the plants today?” he stopped, slowly turned to me , smiled and said ” my name is St. James. I AM a disciple of Jesus Christ. it is a shame that these people are wasting all of this water. so I decided to collect it, and water the plants today.”
after that eye sat and talked with St. James about Jesus, God and how to be a true disciple. he said so many profound things that where amazing. one of the things he said was “God has many names. Muslims call Him Allah. Jamaicans call Him Ja, and my favorite is a Jewish name, Yahweh.” I asked him how did u become a saint . he said “I was born this way. my birthday is Dec, 23rd, two days before the birth of Christ.” he also said that his grandmother was named Marry and his grandfather was names Joseph.
his energy was pure. eye could feel and see the LOVE of GOD in and on him. eye felt like eye was in the presence of a true saint. strangely enough St. James said that he lived in a home for mental patients and that his roommate was really crazy. he could not figure out why his roommate had so much hate and anger in a world full of God’s love and beauty. when he said this, it made me think, this man is not crazy, he is more sane than the avg. person. it is said in the circle of knowers “in an insane society, (and we do live in an insane society) one must appear insane in order to be sane.” at the end of our conversation eye asked him to pray for me. he said “God is going to bless you.” eye smiled and said ” HE just blessed me.”

Eye once asked one of my teachers what it would take to find happiness? He
looked at me, smiled and said “happiness is not something you find. Happiness
is something you ARE.” Part of the true nature of the human being is
Bliss(ananda). This Blissful nature is an aspect of God, who is seen in the hindu
tradition as Sat(truth) Chi(consciousness) and Bliss(ananda). Since God is the
true Self, Bliss is an aspect of Self. Bliss also translates as happiness! True
happiness does NOT come from any outside source, like: money, relationships,
sex, or drugs. True happiness comes from the Self/God. True happiness is not
something that comes and goes based on outer circumstances. True happiness
is ETERNAL because God, its source is eternal!!! Eye once saw a church
billboard that said “if God seems far away, who moved?” In the Bible
the Holy Avatar Jesus said
that the kingdom of heaven is within, and we all know that God is in heaven so
God must BE within U. The prophet Muhammad said “God cannot fit into the
heavens or the earth, but God fits into the hearts of His believers.” The search
for happiness is untimely the search for God!
Ironically looking for God is like a fish in the ocean looking for water LOL. Be
still and KNOW that God, happiness is an aspect of your true nature. All u have
to do
is find Self, and you will have found God and HAPPINESS…..

one sufi master once said “eye spent 40 years talking to God, and the people thought eye was talking to them.”
today on the bus on the way to work God was there!!! there were two ladies on the bus having church this morning. WOW!!! this is going to be a good day eye thought. one of the ladies said “i cant wait for God to show UP. i cant wait for Him to come back.” now me being HU EYE AM, eye thought to myself, She is God! God does not have to come from anywhere! God is all and everything, OMNIPRESENT! out of nowhere (since they were talking about my favorite subject, God) eye said “eye sure hope God shows UP soon.” amen the two ladies said as eye got of the bus.
God shows UP!!! now this is real talk. eye just happen to be a GED/ESL teacher for the public school system in philadelphia. after the bus experience, guess who was in my class today- GOD….at the back table in my class 6 students started having church. 3 older african american women and 3 younger hispanic women to be exact. right in the middle of my class during “church”one of the younger sisters started talking about a dream she had where an older black women was talking to her about God!!! she said the lady in her dream(which she had about 5 months ago) was the lady sitting next to her who was preaching/teaching. OMG when she said that IT WAS ON!!! eye mean tears of joy, one older lady got the Holy Ghost and started speaking in tongues!!! you got to LOVE GOD when HE shows UP in any form!
being a mystic, eye love GOD in all of Her forms. eye love it when God shows UP like that in an unexpected place. yesterday on 52st, in da hood, a perfect stranger paid for something eye needed in a corner store without me asking. the brother just stepped up, pulled out some money and said “eye got you old head.” God shows UP! now eye will never know what made the brother want to pay for my stuff like that? but it touched me in such a deep way that eye could see that GOD IS THE ONLY REALITY. God is beyond religion. God is beyond having just one way to worship and KNOW Him. God was on the bus this morning. God was in my class today. and yesterday in the corner store, God had on a musty dirty jacket with some sagging jeans!!! we must learn to see God when He shows UP! God is there in so many ways. if we could just slow down and pay attention. live and BE in the NOW. we would see God now! the illustrious Buddha one said “every instant in a chance for ENLIGHTENMENT.”” eye once said to one of my 5% brothers “A God. B God. C God”…love and light—sufi
